November 10. “It drizzled this morning.”
“Almost mid-November and rain! What’s happening to the weather!”
“It happens sometimes. I just saw an attachment of how global warming is playing havoc with the lives of other living beings as well. It showed a monkey sitting on a barren branch all by himself. It also showed a bear sitting sadly on an iceberg that is slowly melting as well as a skinny rabbit. I felt heartbroken seeing those clips. What is the human race up to? What are we doing in the name of progress? Thank God for our four-legged friends. At least they have more love, understanding and compassion in their little souls than the two-legged ones.”
“I love you for saying such nice things but what I feel is that the rot is so deep—it’s going to be impossible to rectify the mistakes committed.”
“I think you’re right. Do we then just hang in there and wait for this world to end?”
