Dear Readers, you may notice the dates of the Blog do not match the Flash Post dates which are in real time. The blog was written in 2009 and saw the light of day 6 months back when my younger daughter discovered it and decided to bring it to you here.
July 31. “Now, that’s what you call real monsoon, Button. It’s been pouring almost every single day since the last ten days.”

July 31. “Now, that’s what you call real monsoon, Button. It’s been pouring almost every single day since the last ten days.”

“But it’s still quite humid!”

“I feel so too. Now is the time when we should go for that walk in the rain. You’ll know what a real walk in the rain is like once you go to either Marine Drive or Worli sea face now.”

“Let’s go. I’ll wear the rubber boots you’ve gifted me. Can we fix a date?”

“Tomorrow.  It’s Sunday and every one will be at home.”

“Say after lunch around 4?”

“Fixed.”

“I’ll go tell Rani and Mowgli. They’ll have something to look forward to.”

“Mowgli’s also somewhat depressed. I think Didi told her that she’ll be away for a while.”

“Is she going to Goa again?”

“No. She’s traveling to Kolkata, Port Blair, Delhi and Srinagar for a shoot.”

“Who is she going with?”

“Her team.”

“When is she leaving?”

“Shortly.”
