Flash Post 65!

“Button, it’s strange that we had to escape from Mumbai and the mild cold that’s on offer there to a place that’s experiencing real winter! Yes, we are in Hong Kong and thoroughly enjoying ourselves walking the streets in our woolen jackets and knee-length boots, eating hot steaming broth and noodles in some of the smaller but well-known joints and basically chilling out.

Today is the day before Christmas and, this evening which is Christmas Eve, will see people I’m guessing, spill out on to the streets, hugging and wishing everyone and generally having a great time.

I’m told every part of the city is safe and secure for women, children and the elderly which is unheard of in a city like Mumbai!

Hoping our new government will learn some lessons from our Asian counterparts in the new year which is about a week away.
