Button, read my horoscope today.

I’ve read it. What about it?

Simply that the words “lofty” and “idealistic” have been used so accurately considering the state of mind I am now in.

How’s that?

You know that, being a bi-polar 2 personality, I have my moments when I dip and go into a slump and there are periods when I emerge from that slump and enter a soaring position. Currently, I am in a better period–which is the reason for these frequent posts– when I feel simply wonderful just the way one would feel from a lofty height. I feel I can reach up and even touch the stars! I feel idealistic too because I want to achieve an unrealistic perfection in whatever I undertake and however small it is.

This is too highbrow for me. I don’t get it. I am just happy for you given the mental space you are in currently. I love the kisses and hugs I get from you every now and then: It makes me feel I am your own.

If that means we get to read more posts then I’m happy for you author in your lofty state of mind…happy new year and I wish you the best health in 2019. More power to women like you who brave the toughest challenges to inspire the rest of us who have not even been through a third of your experiences. Hats off!

  It was my elder daughter who suggested I express my mental state through writing about it and putting it out on the web thus enabling others in the same space to come out and talk about it. I was apprehensive at first but, when I actually put it out on this blog, it was like detoxing myself. I suddenly felt cleansed and ready to face the world. Hope others in the same space will do the same.

Buy I’ve heard that Capricorns are usually very self driven and motivated people in any case. They have a bunch of self proclaimed ideals which they live by and refuse to cheat on. Even to the point of being aggressively charged up. They lead from the front and are very particular about details. Are you like this author?

  You have described Capricorns to the hilt. There couldn’t be a more accurate description. I am particular to the extent of being an oppressive compulsive. My psychiatrist described me as an oppressive compulsive personality which is where my depression could have stemmed from.

reaching for the stars is what we should all do…that’s what i tell my children. no matter how low or lost you feel, keep your eye on the target and go for it. that is the only thing that will separate you from the rest of the world…good lesson in your horoscope author…

  Always. No matter what it takes. It’s not the fame or the money or the recognition but the single goal to excel. I teach my daughters the same thing and it was passed down to me by my husband.
