Dear Readers, you may notice the dates of the Blog do not match the Flash Post dates which are in real time. The blog was written in 2009 and saw the light of day 6 months back when my younger daughter discovered it and decided to bring it to you here.
April 12. “Look at this lovely stamp, Button.”

April 12. “Look at this lovely stamp, Button.”

“It has a picture of a polar bear.”

“I can see that. Look closely and tell me what the stamp is all about. It’s telling a story.”

“What is it saying?”

“Can you see the melting ice-cap? And the bear looking all lost?”

“Now that you tell me, I do.”

“The stamp is telling us that ice glaciers are melting because of global warming. The polar bear looks lost because he has not seen anything like this before. He is unable to hunt for food and is hungry.”

“It’s a sad situation.”

“My younger daughter is the stamp collector in the family and I usually give her interesting ones I come across. I kept this one aside to show you and tell you the story. Do you like your new throne?”

“I do. Can you see the Worli Sea Link from here? Fluffy flew me there the first time.”

“I remember. When is your friend taking you out again?”

“He’s been busy. He also likes doing things in his time.”
