October 22. “How was Pune?”

“Nice, Button. Can’t say I loved it. Found it a bit chaotic and loud. Far too many people use scooters as a means of conveyance. As a result, pollution is very high despite the ample greenery.”

“Why did you suddenly decide to go to Pune?”

“Dost had some meetings and asked me to accompany him so the two of us could take a break and I went along.”

“You should go on these trips more often so you can spend time with each other.”

“Why do you think we should spend more time with each other?”

“Just. It gives you both time to relax and just be with each other. Life is getting more and more hectic as we go along and it makes a lot of sense to quietly move into a shoulder sometimes, (like you would do when you are on a highway) take a snooze and move on again. It just gives you that well-earned rest.”

“Are you suggesting that we should slowly opt out?”

“Not at all. Breaks are lovely. Doesn’t everyone love breaks?”
