“Maybe she likes the sound of her voice! A dog would bark, you know… she barks to warn us of intruders. She also barks when she is hungry or wants to go down for a walk.  That’s the way they communicate. It’s very similar to your growl.”

“Rani has lovely eyes.”

“I know. She’s a very good-looking girl.”
