November 30. While Rani and Mowgli patted themselves for teaching MoJo a lesson, it also saddened them to see her so unhappy and depressed.

When MoJo refused to leave her mattress even after an hour, Rani and Mowgli decided to call it quits. B

Rani went to the window and pulled down the chicken for MoJo. The first thing MoJo did was hold the bird in her mouth, stare at her for a long time and then run all over the house to show everyone that she had found her friend. Later, when lunch was served, she picked the bird up gently, placed her beside her bowl of rice and, only then, proceeded to eat.

“End of story, Button?”

“I guess. I hate it when we end the story we are telling.”
