Dear Readers, you may notice the dates of the Blog do not match the Flash Post dates which are in real time. The blog was written in 2009 and saw the light of day 6 months back when my younger daughter discovered it and decided to bring it to you here.

November 14. “Button, Happy Children’s Day.”

“Thank you. What did your daughters do today?”

“Well, the elder one wanted to watch movies the whole day long. She finally saw two. Did you feel the tremors this evening at around 6.40? I was lazing on the bed when it shook rather violently. But funnily, apart from sir, my elder daughter and myself, nobody felt a thing. I even called the society supervisor but received a response that suggested—what are you talking about! We turned on the news to hear that a mild earthquake had struck. And what did you do the whole day?”

“The usual. My friend, Fluffy, came early this morning and chatted with me for a long time. He is so happy to see me again, now that the plywood has been removed.”

“Is he well? What about his family?”

“He is good and so is his family. He said he’d get his family along one of these days and introduce them to us. He’s very proud of his kids.”

“I just read about how one must get at least 7 hours of sleep or it can be fatal. I am off to bed now, Button. Goodnight.”

“Goodnight.”
