Noah’s Ark | Flash Post 309

Button, it suddenly feels like the sluice gates of heaven have been opened wide and water has found its release finally.

What are sluice gates?

A sluice is a water channel controlled at its head by a gate.

Ok. But it feels that this rain will swoosh away everything in its path!

Seems like it and there will be no respite from it till Friday.

That looks scary. All of you should work from home and not step outside.

Good advice. But will anyone listen? This kind of downpour reminds me of Noah’s Ark and how Noah saved himself and pairs of animals and birds. Mind you, there was no human on the boat but himself. Remember the story I told you?

Is this the second time you’ve written about Noah’s Ark on this blog? I remember seeing this picture much earlier on…very intrigued by the story…do you know they found something similar to Noah’s Ark in Turkey recently and may start a tour to it? It is the exact shape and size and the site contains wood and aluminium with which they claim Noah’s Ark was made.

  I may have. There are other stories too that I have repeated. You see, Button loves stories. Very often, if I find a story that I can tell in connection with a particular topic I am writing about, I take the opportunity of re-telling that story. For example, when it rained non-stop for four days 2-3 weekends back, I linked it to the Noah’s Ark story.
