Dear Readers, you may notice the dates of the Blog do not match the Flash Post dates which are in real time. The blog was written in 2009 and saw the light of day 6 months back when my younger daughter discovered it and decided to bring it to you here.
July 18. “The house looks like a home now with all the lovely plants.”

July 18. “The house looks like a home now with all the lovely plants.”

“My daughter’s idea, as usual! She went to a nursery, selected the plants, bought them and laid them out yesterday.”

“Lovely.”

“Have you seen the creepy crawlies that crept out of their habitat? Come, I’ll also teach you the names of some of the plants.”

“Tell me about the creepy crawlies first. What all did you see?”

“Well, I saw earthworms, centipedes and, even a snail.”

“What is a centipede?”

“A centipede is a worm-like thing with 100 legs.”

“You mean to say that little worm has 100 legs.”

“Yes. Here’s one—see for yourself. Do you want to count the number of legs?”

“No way.”

“Some of the plants she got are palms, aurelias, ferns, money plants, a couple of flowering tiger-lilies.”

“I love the pot that looks like a hippo the most.”

“He’s gorgeous.”
