“Button, we all go through tough times almost every day. Whether it is in the workspace, with our family members, with colleagues, with friends, with people we meet, with staff or even with a naughty pet at home…

These small unpleasant incidents fester if we don’t speak up and turn into a much heavier burden which we are left holding and which pushes us to tear our hair and throw up our hands in despair!

What I usually do is take one day at a time and see how I can turn each of those small unpleasantnesses into something that is more manageable. If I succeed, not only does it make me feel good and positive; it sometimes helps turn the mess around. My attempt, most times, backfires with the unpleasantness getting totally out of hand but, at least, I know within me that I tried!

The other thing I try to do is resolve the matter the same day so it does not fester even more.
