“Button, Dost and I are currently in Shimla staying at the breath-taking property of the Oberoi Group’s chain of hotels called The Wildflower Hall. It’s a stunning bit of property and, as I sit here with nothing else to do but soak in the silence, I am already feeling partially cleansed. I’ve never experienced this kind of silence before. It enters every pore of your body and starts to cleanse the body of all the grime, the muck, the tautness and the harriedness of living in big metros. The peace that comes along with this silence transports you into a completely different space altogether. A space you’ve never visited earlier or even knew existed.

I have a one-point agenda on this trip. And that is to explore that alternative avenue that’s just opening up before me.

Hold my hand even if you are somewhere else and let’s explore that avenue together. I assure you, you won’t get bored.”
