Button, by now, you understand how much I love solving sudoku puzzles!

I do because I’ve seen you quickly scan the Mid-day every morning for news so you can get to the sudoku and start solving it. I’ve also seen you whip out the pencil you have in your pencil stand—the one with the eraser in its tail.

We’ve been in Goa for the last couple of days and I’ve been at it—trying to solve sudoku puzzles in different newspapers—and managed to completely solve the one in today’s Navhind Times.

And, hence, the showing off!

You may call it that. But first try and do one yourself entirely first. What I also liked was the perfectly sharpened dark pink pencil I used to fill in the squares. The pencil tip is thin and sharp and it was a pleasure writing with it. Courtesy: Vivanta by the Taj.

I agree. It is not easy. I have till today not been able to authentically complete an easy stage Sudoku! Maybe I’m intimidated by numbers? Never been a fan of math.

  I, too, am actually learning the ropes. I try solving the Mid-day easy/medium sudoku which I successfully complete on certain days and an unable to solve it entirely on most days but I march on with the hope that I’ll be able to solve the most difficult sudoku some day. Try it out and see where the road takes you. Could be fun.

I am dyslexic so I can’t do any thing with too many numbers…else they start swimming in front of my eyes..I failed my class in school 3 times because I was afraid of numbers. But my parents, like all parents, tried to understand the problem and never scolded me for failing my class. I was pardoned from Maths finally when my matter was presented to the principal.

  Thank god for parents like yours. A majority of parents would have forced their child to continue with the subject and, maybe, even beaten up the child for failing in class.
  
  But Sudoku is a lot of fun to solve and there is no pressure of examination. So try it out some time.

I am ADDICTED to Sudoku! I learnt it off a You Tube tutorial for beginners and now I do advanced and difficult Sudoku in less than 3 minutes. The Indian Sudoku Championship is coming up in August 2018. Want to participate author?
