What’s your point?

The story about Nerul-based cobbler, Manoj Purbhe, made me realise this. Manoj is 46 and a star of the locality because of his selfless love for strays. He has just turned guardian for a stray dog named Moti who turned blind when certain unidentified people threw acid on him. Moti used to be a very friendly stray but used to bark at alcoholics and druggies especially those who gathered in dark corners in the evenings. One such evening, someone threw acid or some strong chemical on Moti that made him blind. Since that day Purbhe has been caring for Moti together with a few more strays. Moti is a permanent fixture on the pavement at Purbhe’s little workshop.

I’m sure acts like these reinstall your faith in humanity before crushing them again.
