Button, Buddhiram is our newest recruit to the army of pariahs we have adopted. He was found abandoned outside a building called Alhambra off Peddar Road. An animal-lover friend of ours reported this to chotididi and, since the last three days, Buddhiram has been getting a meal a day. Our animal-lover friend has also been feeding him.

That’s wonderful news. Have you clicked a picture of him? Is he very thin and weak? Why was he abandoned?

I am told that Alhambra is some company guesthouse and, for whatever reason, the guests have all moved out. The building is lying deserted and Buddhiram who was living in the building premises for the last 10 years or so (this is what the building watchman told us), suddenly finds himself stranded and alone with nobody to feed him or take care of him. The building watchman also told us that he is half the size he used to be. When we went to feed him yesterday, I found him very friendly.

Let’s hope he recovers to being the way he was…
