“What’s with this heat!”
“Button, I have no clue. All I feel is totally exhausted and wrung out at the end of each day.”
“It’s too much for me to take. I am very tempted to go back to the Arctic and live there in bliss.”
“What bliss? The TOI reported today that the huge ice loss in the Antarctica is causing minor changes in the earth’s gravity! Around 2009, multiple glaciers along the vast coastal expanse began to shed ice into the ocean adding close to 55 trillion litres of water each year. To date, the water from the melting glaciers have added roughly 300 cubic km of water into the ocean which is the equivalent to the volume of almost 350,000 Empire State Buildings combined! Researchers have also found out that the ice surface of the glaciers is currently going down by as much as 4m each year! Very soon, there will be no food left for polar bears and your ilk!”
“Don’t scare me.”
“But it is scary.”
