“Button, have you, more of less, found your bearings in the new house?”

“A bit! But I love the old-world charm of this house. The other house was bigger, I remember, but this one’s a beauty! And the garden–it’s something else. I sat out with Mowgli and Mojo for a good couple of hours yesterday evening breathing in the cool, fresh air.”

“It was easier for Mowgli to adjust to you. Has Mojo come around!”

“She’s trying. We’re both trying! She’s grown big and beautiful.”

“Did you notice how other walkers commented on her beauty when we went for a walk last evening?”

“But why were people staring at me and asking questions about me?”

“Because they’ve never seen a teddy out on his evening walk ever! It was unique! It was different!

“I don’t like being stared at! And they were doing just that!”

“But I enjoyed myself! I loved answering their queries! I felt special! Did you notice how I was walking yesterday with my chest puffed out!”

“Was it because I was there! Did you really feel proud? Did you enjoy showing me off to the world?”

“Absolutely! And we’ll go for a walk this evening as well and the next evening and every evening! I want to show off my Button to the world!”

“I love you.”
