“I saw that too but don’t have a clue!”

“Now, Button, don’t lie. Did you make scary faces at her?”

“I swear to God I did not.”

“I want the truth. Why are you grinning from ear to ear?”

“I showed her my big teeth which must have scared her away!”

“Shame on you.  And it was you who wanted an introduction so you could play with them. I doubt if you’d do that to Rani.”

“Of-course I would. You remember how Rani nearly pushed me off my pedestal?  By the way, I was only playing with Mowgli. I didn’t think she’d get scared and run away.”

“I’ll shake hands with Mowgli and make up. Is she upset with me?”
