February 2. “Now tell me the truth, Button”

“What?”

“When did you come back from the party last night?”

“It must have been around 1. That’s what the clock in the living room said.”

“Did you enjoy yourself? Were there lots of guests?”

“Fluffy’s in-laws were there and so were his parents. He had also invited some very dear friends. A few of his wife’s friends were also invited. Basically, it was a small get-together consisting of those really close to Fluffy and his wife.”

“Did you eat well?”

“There were some delicacies which I did not recognize but Fluffy’s wife got some fish for me.”

“What’s his wife’s name? We can’t keep calling her Fluffy’s wife for the rest of our lives. Surely she has a name!”

“Her name is Preity.”

“That’s a cute name. But why is it spelt as Preity and not Pretty?”

“That was the numerologist’s suggestion! She spelt it as Pretty till he asked her to change it to Preity to bring her family good luck.”

“I find it crazy. Do you believe in numerology or astrology or palmistry?”

“I would if it concerned my family.”

“I understand.”

“They also played some nice music to which Fluffy and Preity danced. The song I recognized was ‘Mere Angne Mein Tumhara Kya Kaam Hai’. Fluffy also sang and the two of them looked truly magical. They are so much in love.”

“I’ll have to find a mate for you soon.”
