“In fact, I had a lovely day. I also loved the way you hugged me this morning and greeted me. Thank you so much. I also know that you and Dost complete 32 years of marriage today! That’s a long, long time. My best wishes are with you so the both of you celebrate your anniversary for many more years to come. I’ll go and wish Dost.”

“You’re sweet. Yes, time has flown and, somehow, it seems to be moving faster with each year.”

“I saw you with a pigeon this morning. Where did you find her?”

“I feel it’s auspicious. Pigeons are harbingers of peace and this little bird flew in through the study window as it was slightly ajar. I heard the flutter and if I hadn’t reached in time, Rani would have got there before me. I held her close to my chest for some time to calm her down before letting her fly away.”

“It sure is auspicious as it flew inside the house today!”

“I am superstitious about these little things and felt it was a good omen.”
