“What does that mean?”

“These headlines appeared in various publications but didn’t make sense. They were collected and published in the Mirror.”

“Let me see if I can figure out the errors.”

“Safety expert says school bus passengers should be belted. What’s wrong here?”

“The word ‘belted.’ Here ‘belted’ means caned or whipped. Corporal punishment which can take a bad turn.”

“Correct. The second one is—Survivor of Siamese twins joins parents.”

“What’s wrong with this one?”

“Siamese twins are conjoined twins. There’s no way one of them could have met up with their parents.”

“The third is—Stolen painting found by tree.”

“I am unable to figure out this one!”

“You mean to say the tree went looking for the stolen painting!. The fourth is—Killer sentenced to die for second time in 10 years.”

“You tell me.”

“The word ‘for’ shouldn’t be there. Why should one die for a killer?”

“Any more?”

“The last one is—Panda mating fails, veterinarians take over.”

“You mean vets took over to mate with the panda! That’s impossible.”
