Dear Readers, you may notice the dates of the Blog do not match the Flash Post dates which are in real time. The blog was written in 2009 and saw the light of day 6 months back when my younger daughter discovered it and decided to bring it to you here.

August 16. “Button, Rani went for a walk this afternoon after a gap of almost 3 weeks.”

“And how did you manage that?”

“Dost was about to go out for a lunch meeting when I noticed Rani come running up to the main door. Something just told me that she had made up her mind to go out.”

“Did she?”

“Just when Dost went out of the main door, she followed him out.”

“Why do you think she went out today? What do you think made her take that step?”

“It could be that she realized that enough was enough and that she was being very disobedient and difficult and we would take some drastic step once our patience snapped. The other could be that she was tired of staying at home and wanted to get some fresh air. The next could be that Mowgli had a word with Rani requesting her to go down as she felt lonely going for a walk all by herself!”

“I find Rani exceptionally intelligent and very strong-willed. When she makes up her mind to do something, there’s nothing in the world that can prevent her from doing so.”

“All said and done, I was very happy that she went down today.”
