A Thing Of Beauty | Flash Post 319
Button, is this something God created or nature at its best or a work of art:
Woah! When did you click this? I’ve not seen anything so exquisite.
When I stepped out into the garden this morning, I saw this beautiful butterfly fluttering around and I knew I had to click it. The minute it settled down on a leaf, I moved in as close as I could get to it and pressed the camera button.
It is such a gorgeous creature.
Notice how well it has camouflaged with the green of the leaves and how it’s wings look like gossamer.
Other than God or nature, who would have been able to create something that’s so perfect and so stunning?
Even after I had clicked it, the butterfly continued to sit on that leaf for a long time.
Maybe it felt safe with you beside it!
Did you know that butterflies use their feet to taste-not with a tongue like we do? A group of butterflies called night butterflies have ears on their wings to avoid being picked up and eaten by bats. Butterflies are cold-blooded: They can’t fly if their body temperature is less than 30 degrees Celsius.
How do you know all this?
I read it up to tell you more about butterflies and learnt a thing or two in the process.
