October 7. “Button, what would you call a group of crows?”
“Group!”
“No. A group of crows is called a parliament or a murder of crows.”
“That’s a difficult one for me to answer.”
“You’ve learnt something new today. Now, what would you call a group of ants?”
“Tell me. I don’t have a clue.”
“A group of ants is called an army or colony. I’ll ask you a simple one now. What’s a group of asses called?”
“Herd.”
“Correct. The next one I’m going to ask is a very interesting one. It’s okay if you don’t know this one. What’s a group of apes called?”
“Can’t tell.”
“A group of apes is called a shrewdness of apes.”
“Shrewdness? That’s very unusual.”
“What’s a group of butterflies called?”
“Is it swarm?”
“Correct. Another beautiful word is rainbow.”
“That’s very beautiful.”
“What would you call a group of cockroaches?”
“I don’t know.”
“It’s called an intrusion.”
“Is it because they intrude?”
“May-be. I’ll wind up with a simple one which you’ll have the answer to. What’s a group of pigeons called?”
“Flock?”
“Correct. Some like ‘colony of ants’, ‘murder of crows’ and ‘intrusion of cockroaches’ have not been officially authenticated but I felt like mentioning them to you anyways.”
“I’ve learnt some new stuff today. Thanks for educating me.”
