“Why do you say that?”

“Because Diwali is a week away and nobody is in a mood to celebrate or shop. I was driving past the footwear shops on Warden Road where there are at least 5-6 shops and not a soul was to be seen. In other words, all the shops were empty and when I saw empty, it means empty.”

“That’s scary.”

“I was also reading on yahoo news yesterday how realty prices are falling in Britain and how nearly 5 lakh employees in the service sector are going to lose their jobs in the next year!”

“How is the club doing?”

“Not too well.”
