Dear Readers, you may notice the dates of the Blog do not match the Flash Post dates which are in real time. The blog was written in 2009 and saw the light of day 6 months back when my younger daughter discovered it and decided to bring it to you here.

October 2. “Button, I call it my little red haven.”

“What are you talking about. What haven?”

“Guess. I’ll also get to know how well you know me.”

“That corner near the plants which has a red sofa?”

“You’re absolutely right. Shall we write a story on it and call it ‘The Red Corner?’ We haven’t written one in a while.”

“I’d love to. When can we start? Let’s call the story ‘The Red Sofa?”

“Tomorrow? Incidentally, The Red Corner sounds better.”

“Let’s do it.”

“Let’s go and watch Robot, the Rajnikanth blockbuster.”

“I’ll keep Rani and Mowgli company.”

“As you wish.”

“Was the movie good?”

“It’s something else! Incidentally, all Rajnikanth’s movies are made with huge budgets and do spectacularly well. Robot was made for a whopping Rs 150 crores, I am told!”

“150 crores? That’s a lot of money!”

“But it was entertaining without any shadow of doubt. And Rajnikanth is god, unquestionably. At 63 years of age, he’s leaves his younger peers way behind.”
