October 18. “Button, I usually don’t sit at the computer on Sundays but after I began this dialogue with you, I turn on the machine just to be able to converse with you. I don’t believe this.”
“I love that. Any regrets?”
“None. In fact I love chatting with you. I also love the weekends when I get to lie in bed in the afternoons, read a book and sometimes take a short nap. The book I am reading now is the third by the same author: It’s called Veronica Decides To Die by Paulo Coelho and I must say I quite like his writing. The first book I read was called the Zahir which, according to me, is his best. I identified so much with the book. I see you’re very fidgety today! Are you well?”
“I have a tummy ache. But I’ll be alright.”
“Can I give you a pill?”
“I avoid medication. Don’t worry—it’ll settle down by itself. I must have eaten something at lunchtime that has disagreed with me.”
