November 24. 12am. “Button, I’m back.”

There was complete silence.

“Button, are you there?”

There was still no answer. I couldn’t guess what could have happened to Button because he was there for dinner though he didn’t eat as much as he usually does! I noticed he had been very quiet too! I went to his room and found him all curled up on his bed. I touched his forehead.  He wasn’t running temperature either.”

“Button, what’s the matter? Are you well?”

“I am okay.”

“What’s bothering you?”

“Rani and Mowgli have fought with me.”

“Really? Over what?”

“I wanted to play hide-n-seek with them and they refused. They actually wanted to play name-place-animal-thing and, since I didn’t want to play that game, we had an argument and a small fight erupted.”

“There’s nothing wrong with little fights now and then. Go and make peace with them.”
