November 1. “Button, have you ever tried juggling?”

“Juggling! Whatever for?”

“Just.”

“No. Never.”

“This morning I got a taste of juggling when I nearly dropped a bottle of moisturizer in the bathroom and, in order to stop it from falling and crashing, other bottles and paraphernalia began falling and I continued to juggle these bottles and jars for quite a while in order to steady them.”

“Can you show me how jugglery is done?”

“I certainly can’t put up a show for you but I can demonstrate to you what jugglery is all about with the help of two balls perhaps. Jugglers usually do shows with dozens of balls, plates and glasses. What is required is total concentration. Circus clowns used to do jugglery.”

“When will you show it to me?”

“Remind me to show it to you tomorrow sometime.”
