Dear Readers, you may notice the dates of the Blog do not match the Flash Post dates which are in real time. The blog was written in 2009 and saw the light of day 6 months back when my younger daughter discovered it and decided to bring it to you here.

May 24. 7pm. “Button, if there’s one thing I envy Dost for, it’s his writing.”

“Are you sure!”

“Nothing at all. Writing comes so easily to him and the simple words he uses to explain everything he wants is awesome.”

“He’s also written tons of poetry if I am not mistaken.”

“He’s written a large number of books. This Thursday, after almost two decades, he is releasing a book of poems. The poems are very different this time but they are typically him.”

“I see he’s dedicated the book to you. How does that feel?”

“It feels great. And since he’s writing after so many years, it feels as if he’s dedicating his first book of poems to me.”

“He should do a similar launch in Kolkata because that’s the city that nurtured the poet in him.”

“I overheard him telling someone that Calcutta Club has invited him to launch the book there too.”

“Who is the book designed by?”

“My younger daughter.”

“It looks stunning.”
