He invited us to spend a week at this haven he has built. It’s aptly called Beyond and, if there’s heaven on earth, it is his home. We were there for just 2 days and wish we had taken up his offer and spent a week. I have never seen whiter sand, bluer water or clearer skies but the one thing Dost pointed out to us one night as we sat down for dinner under the clear skies was the fact that not a single star could be seen!”

“But why?”

“We couldn’t think of a reason.”

“That’s strange. Even in Mumbai with all the pollution, we get to see stars in the sky.”

“I also went for a walk on the beach all by myself the day we left. And, as I stood on the beach with the water lapping at my feet, I felt nature was paying homage.”
