“Do you know that there’s a 100-year old Mahogany tree planted near Lion’s Gate which nobody knows about? It was planted by David Livingstone, a Scottish missionary and an explorer in Africa when he visited Mumbai.”

“Interesting. Let’s go and see these trees one of these days.”

“This is not the only tree in the city which has a unique history behind it. Several others are scattered from Churchgate to Horniman Circle. There is also a tree from Burma which was planted here by the British which has adopted Indian conditions and still stands tall on the Fort campus of the Mumbai university.”

“Will you take us for a nature walk one of these days and show us the trees?”

“Sure, I will.”
