Dear Readers, you may notice the dates of the Blog do not match the Flash Post dates which are in real time. The blog was written in 2009 and saw the light of day 6 months back when my younger daughter discovered it and decided to bring it to you here.
March 28. “Button, I have some questions to which I don’t have answers.”

March 28. “Button, I have some questions to which I don’t have answers.”

“Is that the truth or are you just testing me?”

“Honest to God, I am clueless. The first is—Do mothers bear children to get hurt?”

“I am positive the answer to that is—Don’t create a mountain out of a molehill. Getting hurt is a part of life. You can’t expect everything in life to work out your way. It’s not a one way street, you know. Don’t you read in the papers very often about parents torturing their children? From rape, to child abuse to killing off the girl child and much much more!”

“Makes sense. The next is—If heaven is above us, should we call this place hell?”

“Ha! Who said what we see above us is heaven? I have never believed in the concept of heaven and hell. Do you?”

“Not really. Just that it’s been drilled into our heads that the heavens are above us and hell is a black hole where you are dumped if you don’t live a good and honest life.”

“Why do people look upwards every time they talk to god?”

“Because we were told when we were kids that god lives upstairs.”

“Is heaven better than hell?”

“I have not visited either place but would imagine both would have their plus and minus points.”

“Who created the concept of heaven and hell?”

“Someone like you and me.”

“When pain stings you, you cry. Yet, when you are happy, you laugh! Why does one not laugh when one is pained and cry when one is happy?”

“Strange question. I’ll have to research that one.”
