I just pointed out to Dost one more palace up in the mountains that seems suspended in space. It looks very eerie since it’s black all around and, way up in the midst of this blackness, you see these flickering lights! Udaipur is a very quaint yet beautiful city.”

“Are the two of you having fun?”

“Lots as well as resting and, basically, lazing around. We also watched 3 lovely movies in the last three days.”

“One of the films you watched must have been Once Upon A Time In Mumbai!”

“How did you know?”

“I know you were keen to watch that movie.”

“You are absolutely right and it was a lovely movie. Do you know that a lot of the characters in the film like Haji Mastan played by Ajay Devgan, Varadarajan Mudalier played by I forget who were known to Dost? Haji Mastan was crazily in love with Madhubala who spurned his love. Mastan, later, found a Madhubala look-alike who I hear was related to the actual Madhubala. This role is beautifully portrayed by Kangna Ranaut. Ajay is excellent too. Do you know that Dost did cover stories for  a reputed weekly with Haji Mastan and Mudalier who threatened to kidnap our kids and burn down our house? He also did a cover story with Dawood Ibrahim played by Emraan Hashmi who is also excellent in the film.”

“Let me guess the remaining two movies you must have watched!”

“Guess!”

“Quick Gun Murugan?”

“That’s one of the discs I carried but haven’t watched yet.”

“Then what about Band Baja Baarat?”

“Bang on. The other film we watched was Phas Gaya Obama.”

“Band Baja Baarat which we watched this evening, is a lovely movie and Anushka Sharma and Ranveer Singh are simply superb.”
