Dear Readers, you may notice the dates of the Blog do not match the Flash Post dates which are in real time. The blog was written in 2009 and saw the light of day 6 months back when my younger daughter discovered it and decided to bring it to you here.
July 30. “You’re back, I see.”

July 30. “You’re back, I see.”

“Yes, Button, Dost and I got back this evening.”

“Did you have a good trip?”

“Very good trip. I for one, rested, slept, ate, spent a day with my mother and, basically had a great time.”

“I’ll also tell you about a conversation I overheard between MoJo and Pippa!”

“Really? But Pippa is a very interesting character, Button. I’ve been studying her habits for some time now and I’m completely awed.”

“But why?”

“I’ve just found out that she’s vegan and loves cabbage leaves beside basil and coriander leaves. After her meal, she likes to go to a dark, secluded corner, curl up and go to sleep. This evening, when I went looking for her, I couldn’t find her in her pot so, naturally, I looked for her. I found her in one corner of the window ledge groping her way forward. Now, what I usually do, thinking that she’s lost, is pick her up and place her back in the pot. For the first time, I didn’t do that because I wanted to see if she could find her way back on her own. And, to my surprise, I found her back in the pot after about half an hour!”

“What you are trying to tell me is that she is going out for a stroll after her nap!”

“Exactly. It’s simply amazing.”

(What’s with the rains?  It’s just not letting up. At this rate we’ll be stuck indoors for days!)
