Button, had you been around, you would have found it somewhat difficult to digest this bit of news: Narendra Modi, our new Prime Minister, has been advised, as part of a management idea, to place soft toys such as teddy bears to get bureaucrats to act more socially and bring down corruption in the country! According to a study, adults are less likely to cheat and more likely to engage in so-called pro social behaviour when they are reminded of childhood memories! Such memories trigger feelings of moral purity in us! The group of researchers were led by Francesca Gino of Harvard University and has been published in today’s Mint.
