I just opened today Mid-day and the front page spoke of how a 15-year old girl died without getting justice after she was gang-raped in the Churchgate subway last April because the GRP and the Marine Drive police have been pawning off the case to each other to pass the blame! Incidentally, the first 3 pages of the same paper has reported this story and similar stories of rape!

I’m telling you this because you are old enough to understand. You will be 9 shortly which is about 63 years if mathematically converted to human age. I multiplied your age with 7 because that’s the way we calculate the human age of the four-legged babies at home! I’m not sure though about the accuracy!

The world celebrates Women’s Day on March 8 every year. I dream of a day when we will be able to exist as equal human beings.”
