“Button, Arturo, a 900 lb polar bear who also happens to be the world’s saddest animal ever since he lost his mate, has found a friend to share his life with. This friend happens to be a stray cat who goes by the name Oscar. Arturo who stays in Mendoza Zoo in Argentina, also suffers from depression and becomes extremely restless when temperatures reach 40 degrees Celsius.

One only hopes that he will come out of his depression with his new-found friend. Both Arturo and Oscar stay in the same cage and keep each other company, cuddle up at night and even share food.

But the question is: Will Oscar’s friendship help Arturo come out of his depression? Will the zoo authorities also move Oscar if they decide to transfer Arturo to cooler climes?
