You love chocolates, don’t you?

I absolutely love them. Especially the dark variety that has 70 to 75% cocoa in it. Why?

Do you know that your favourite chocolate is significantly harmful for the environment?

Like I said, I love chocolates and, irrespective of whether they are good or bad for the environment, you won’t be able to dissuade me from eating them.

Well, just for your information, I’d like to tell you that the UK chocolate industry produces about 2.1 million tonnes of greenhouse gases a year that is equivalent to the annual emissions of the whole population of a city as large as Belfast. It also found that it takes around 1,000 litres of water to produce just one bar of chocolate.

You’re speaking to the wrong person, Button. I love chocolates and I’ll continue to eat them till my last breath leaves my body. By the way, where did you read about this?

I LOVE WHITE CHOCOLATES!!! Everytime I travel abroad, the only thing I buy from duty free are chocolates. I of course don’t care that I am a diabetic and weigh 101 kgs…Forget what the doctors say about an apple a day, have a chocolate a day and see how happy you feel! It’s pure unadulterated joy!

  I love the dark variety. We too pick up chocolates mostly from duty free. When chocolates are in front of you, who’d care if one is diabetic or not. Pop a creamy chocolate into your mouth and you feel as if you have the whole world in the palm of your hands.

We have a separate refrigerator in our house for chocolates. That should say it all.

  Once upon a time we also had a separate refrigerator for chocolates alone. This refrigerator was placed in the dining area while the other refrigerator was kept in the kitchen and stored everything else.

People are so crazy about imported chocolates…but my favourite is our very own home grown brand…Cadbury Dairy Milk! Nothing like it exists…smooth as silk.

Have any of you tried Hersheys?? Try it and you will forget every other chocolate. Its the best in milk chocolate by far. I melt Hersheys everytime I bake a chocolate cake. Expensive but to die for…

Have you tried healthy organic dark chocolate author? Try Pascha or Taza…they’re the least processed choclate with 85% cocoa. You’ll love it!!

  Never tried. Never even heard of it! Where can I get this organic brand of chocolate? I simply love the dark variety.
