Flash Post 241!
Button, remember some of the stories the two of us wrote not too long back?
Those were infinitely our more creative period, if you’ll allow me to call it that.
And why not? Shall we try our hand at it again?
Of-course.
Let’s keep them really short this time.
Great. You go first.
The Missing Orange Tree
Jill swallowed a pip while eating an orange. She was mortally scared that an orange tree would grow out of her. She confided to Bill, her best friend, about this.
That’s worrisome, said Bill to Jill.
Then find me a solution, Bill. Can you imagine an orange tree growing out of my ears and mouth and every other orificeĀ and oranges dangling from its branches?
Shall we tell your parents about it, Jill?
Why on God’s earth would I want to do that, Bill?
Jill and Bill waited and waited and waited for the day when they would see the orange tree but the orange tree never showed up.
While Jill was relieved, she was just that tad bit sad that the orange tree hadn’t showed up.
