Button, just read a very interesting, but not all that surprising, fact in FactsInYourFace on Twitter which says that there is a 9.7% increase in happiness in people on Fridays as compared to the most unhappy day in the week which is Monday!

Really? Why so?

The only reason I can think of is that people don’t like going back to work on Mondays but love Fridays because it is the beginning of the weekend. The more extended the weekend, on both ends, the better.

I actually thought people liked going to work and hated being at home and feeling bored.

The figure proves the real situation.

What do you like doing?

I am a homebody, as you know, and I think twice before stepping out even on invitation.

Mondays for me are mostly about getting back to the grind. I just wish there was an air of positivity around the whole concept of Mondays.

  Come on… Only you can bring about that air of positivity around the negativity of Monday’s if you choose to. Try it out and see…maybe that getting back to the grind will change once and for all. It’s all in the mind.

On the contrary I simply love Mondays, because it signals the start to a new challenge. Most seem to disagree with me though.

  Often it varies. Monday seems the day to kickstart the week with and Friday seems to taper it down. I know lots of people who suffer from Monday blues…
