December 27. 12.20pm. “What are you doing on your iPad so early in the day?”
“Writing to you, obviously, because I am missing you, Button.”
“That’s not all. I feel you’re slowly unravelling the mysteries of using the iPad and, therefore, you’re at it. Is it fun?”
“Great fun. It’s like taking the wrapper off a gift. Only in this case, the surprises within are endless. It’s like removing wrapper after wrapper after wrapper and getting a surprise each time.”
“Any plans for the day?”
“Will be going out at some stage. My younger daughter wants to see the schools where Dost and I studied, the tiny home I lived in while growing up. She even wanted to go to Putimari (I’ve told you about the place), where we holidayed as children because we couldn’t afford expensive holidays.”
“Anyways, have a great time. Have fun and chill.”
“Thanks, Button. Is Mowgli okay? Please take care of her till our return.”
