December 26. “Button, you must be rejoicing!”

“You bet. I may be all dusty but, finally, there’s light in my room and I can look outside.  Am I happy or what?”

“Even though I can’t reach you because the partition is partially there, I took a peek at you and saw you beaming.”

“Honestly, I can’t remember when I was this happy. Thank you for chasing the workers. You are a gem.”

“Sleep early tonight. I’m sure your friends will come by tomorrow and give you the juicy stories you’ve missed.”

“But clean me up nicely. I want to look nice and feel squeaky clean in time for the New Year.”
