December 25. “Where are you off to tomorrow morning?”

“Kolkata, Button. I was going to tell you about it.”

“And why are you suddenly going to Kolkata?”

“It’s the wedding reception of the daughter of a very dear friend of Dost. Actually Dost and I were to attend. My daughters are coming along for a short break. They haven’t taken a break in ages.”

“So it’s going to be a family reunion all over again?”

“We are also going to give my mom a big new year surprise. I can visualise the shock, surprise and joy on her face once she sees all four of us in person.”

“That’s a great way to start the new year.”

“We’ll be back on the 30^th. Stay well and look after everyone in my absence. I won’t be gone for long.”

“Have a safe trip. We’ll continue with our story once you are back.”
