December 23. “Whose turn is it, Button?”
Ishika ate lunch with all the 100 inhabitants of the island. The table was big enough to accommodate close to 200 people. It was like a huge and happy joint family. After lunch, they dispersed to either continue with the work they were doing or take a nap. The princess loved to nap. B
When evening fell, she sat lazing on the beach, sometimes sipping freshly squeezed orange juice or presiding over meetings scheduled by her people.
Life couldn’t have been better. B
“Shall we call it a day?”
