Dear Readers, you may notice the dates of the Blog do not match the Flash Post dates which are in real time. The blog was written in 2009 and saw the light of day 6 months back when my younger daughter discovered it and decided to bring it to you here.
December 21. “Button, driving back from Pune the other day made me realise that life has passed from a leisurely pace to a frenzied one!”

December 21. “Button, driving back from Pune the other day made me realise that life has passed from a leisurely pace to a frenzied one!”

“I don’t understand.”

“Have you seen busy highways with cars whizzing past? There are three lanes: The left lane is meant for cars driving leisurely, the centre one is meant for the not-so-leisurely cars and the extreme right lane is meant for cars being driven the fastest. Our man behind the wheel was driving very confidently along the extreme right lane.”

“What are you trying to tell me?”

“That our own lives have changed from a leisurely one to a frantic pace. We are cruising not even in the centre lane. Practically all of us have moved to the extreme right and, once there, trying to overcome the other vehicles in front of us!”

“Why do they think they are in a driving race?”

“Button, every one believes he’s a racing car driver.”

“I guess the same holds true of our lives. Were we to cross over into an even faster lane than the extreme right lane, where would that land us?”

“Heaven?”

“Why not hell?”
