She used to go down earlier around 3 to 4 times a day.”

“I don’t know. She’s very clever so it’s unlikely that she’d suddenly stop going for a walk without a reason.”

“Do you think one of those reasons could be that she hates getting her feet wet and dirty because it is monsoon time?”

“Anything is possible. Or she’s ragged. Or one of her friends downstairs has ridiculed her by calling her fat.”

“Like you said—anything is possible. Rani used to love going down with Dost when he left for work every morning but doesn’t do that either.”

“I hope she’s not unwell?”

“Time will tell.”
