April 11. Welcome, MoJo.

Welcome to my world. I see you’ve already met Shabby. Did he introduce you to the others as well?

He has. You have a lovely world out here.

Thank you, MoJo. Now let’s have some lunch before we do anything else. You must be famished. Saying this, Boo took both MoJo and Shabby into a banquet room where a huge feast was laid out. MoJo had never seen so much food before. As Boo eased himself into a chair at the head of the table, MoJo went and sat down on a chair to Boo’s right and saw that all those he had met that morning were there together with lots and lots of other living creatures.

There was a tortoise on one chair chewing away at some iceberg lettuce. Then there were two snails sitting side by side, waving their tentacles in the air. There was a crow perched on an armrest of a chair as well as a beautiful peacock. There were many more animals, birds and insects—all sharing the food that was laid out for them.

MoJo had a ball. Never had her family given her food in such huge quantity! She was thrilled and ate and ate and ate till she was completely satiated.

After lunch, Boo took MoJo into another room, laid her down and recited some mantra. MoJo immediately felt as if she was in a trance.
