I have seen her turn her face to the left, then to the right as if the water in the bowl is a mirror and she is examining herself in it!”
April 23. “Did you read that bit of news in today’s Mumbai Mirror about the blind boxer dog, Baks, who has got a new leese of life after being taken under the wings of a goose?”
“And your namesake, Button! Her name is Buttons!”
April 20. “Button, could it be the umbilical cord connection that is the reason behind the fatal blow a mother experiences when her child hurts her?
Is it any different with adopted children!”
April 19. Mojo came back to her senses after a couple of hours but felt as if she had slept through it all.
She felt a slight dull ache in her belly but nothing very painful.
April 16. “Where did you disappear yesterday?”
“Actually I was very upset.”

“What! We’ve not had any kind of dialogue and your opening line to me is goodnight! I can’t believe this.”

“Could be the heat!”
